On June 20th, 1944 a vision was brought into action with the purchase of the Terminal Oil Mill in Oklahoma City, OK; which would later become the Producers Cooperative Oil Mill (PCOM). Comprised of fourteen cooperative gins and three regional cooperatives, the original investments made in the development of this plant deserve a great deal of praise for their vision and courage in starting such a grand endeavor and developing it to what it has become today. As we approach our 75th anniversary, PCOM is proud to reflect on the strides made to become a cooperative that is enhancing the value of cotton for our gin membership and the producers they represent.
